Teacup time!

I wanted to share the two new teacups that I got while shopping this week.
Mondays I love to check out the consignment shop on the way to work.
The picture is kind of dark but one of the cups has "Happy Birthday" on
the front of it which I thought was pretty unique. Also the tea-cart
I got awhile back and I use it to display the set that belonged to my Grandma.
It's funny because while I like iced tea I am not really a big fan of hot tea.
Maybe I just haven't found the right brew. Have a great weekend!

Such pretty tea cups!
I'm the opposite of you. I like hot tea and don't like iced tea. :-)

How fun! I love iced tea... but I also enjoy certain herbal teas and sweet/spicy teas hot. I listed my favorites on today's post on my blog.

Hi Joy, lovely tea cups. I have to say that I think it is unusual to find a tea cup that reads Happy Birthday, sounds like a real treasure. I guess while I'm here I'll get in on the poll you've got going.I like iced and hot tea.lol Thanks for stopping by. Take care. Deb

Hi Joy,
Your teacups look lovely, I used to collect them for years till I had no more room to display them! Now they get rotated around my displays! I don't know if you have a Trader Joe's where you are or not, but...they have a blackberry and a raspberry tea that is amazing! It is like eating the fruit, Yummy! I should send you some if you can't get it, you would start using those teacups for sure then!
Blessings and Hugs, Donna Lynn

Hi Joy! The tea cups are lovely! I work with them all day and find them just so charming. Although by the time I get them, they are really beaten up, cracked and chipped. It always makes me a little sad to think of their past life and how now they are not wanted. That's what I love about making my china jewelry...so they can live on again in a new life. Tea cups are my favorite to work with too. So glad you are giving your tea cups a good home! ~ xoxo ~ Joy J.

i used to drink a lot of tea, but then it started giving me a stomach ache. i switched to green tea (which i had once found undrinkable) and found that it is mild and i like it quite a bit.

there are nice blends of green and jasmine, or green and mint that are particularly nice.

such lovely teacups must not go unused!

Hi Joy
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I am always excited when I meet another blogger! Your happy birthday teacup is a treasure. I love tea cups too and I have lots of tea cups and teapots that I have collected over the years. Now that I live in the south I am getting used to ice tea but I'll always be a hot tea lover. Hope you'll come back again.

Lovely finds and I love the teacart! Have you tried Lady Grey? It's nice and mild with a little milk and sugar.

Hi Joy!
LOVE your Teacups! They're so pretty & that is the neatest teacart - I've never seen one like it! I'm a cold iced tea drinker too & have never been a fan of hot tea! Love my coffee in the mornings!

Enjoy your day!

Hi Joy~
First of all, thanks for stopping by my blog! I don't know how you found me, but I'm glad you did!
I collect teacups and teapots and those you have are lovely and I like the rack that they're sitting on.I'm a hot tea drinker in the winter, and cold tea in the summer.I've heard some mentioned here that I'll have to try!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I love tea - hot or cold. So I guess it is only natural that I have unofficially started a tea pot collection.
