Bessie Pease Gutmann

My favorite artist is a woman by the name of Bessie Pease Gutmann. She is
a wonderful artist and I collect her plates and figurines. I also love her
art although I don't own any of it. You can see her art on this web page,
www.bessiepease.com/prints/Love-is-blind.html
I keep most of her things that I own in my diningroom. The shelves that they
are displayed on were made by my father. Her art usually features little children,
animals and sometimes angels or cherubs. She born in 1876 and died in 1960.
She was widely popular in the 1920s and the 1930s but collectors still love
her today.

Hello Joy, I adore Bessie too. I used to sell her antique prints when I was an antique dealer.(now retired)
There is one I love so much called a "Double Blessing'. Your collection is so sweet, I love the plates.

Thank you for visiting my porch yesterday. I am still trying to catch up with the sweet comments. We feel so lucky to live here in the mountains.

Take care, Jeanne
