Backyard flowers and things!

Our petunia's got huge this year! We have one plant on each side of the gazebo. I like

this color the best!

The next one is of the pond my hubby built there are actually about a dozen or more
fish in there but we can't see them too well since his water plants are taking it over.
I love the cat tails though.

I bought this little teacup bird feeder for the garden. I thought it was a cute edition to the backyard!

Here is one of the many birdhouses my hubby has painted for the yard. It is even occuppiedby a little bird but I haven't seen it yet.

This has been the first cool day in awhile so I after brushing the dog, I decided to take a few pictures while the flowers are still blooming.

Deeeeelightful garden and yard, libray lady chick! I love the petunias also. I saw some the other day when I was at Burger King and they were so pretty I just stared and almost forgot to order. Now, THAT'S a first!!!

Oh I love your purple petunias! I never have luck with them they get too leggy for me. I know you're suppose to pinch them back but I never do it right.

Love the birdhouse too! I just get bees in mine.

We are having another hot humid day but rain is promised for later in the day to cool things off here too.

Oh, I do love petunias. They're supposed to survive out here, but I can never get them to last long after bringing them home from the store! *sigh* Thanks for sharing yours!

Hi Joy, thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and leaving a comment. I love to read, too, so we definitely have that in common. I love your "Library Lady" title, also... we practically live at our wonderful local library (there's even a reference to it in my post today.) What a treasure a library is!

Blessings,
Christi

Joy I have seen those tea cups for the garden. I was thinking I just might make one. I see you stoped at my blog or tried to. That was one from a few years ago. Please come visit me at the right one. Just got a lot of new things at the thrift store which is my second home HA.
Enjoyed looking at your site.

Thanks for the comment! Love your Flowers. I didn't plant too much this year because of the weather. I am hoping this fall I can plant lots of mums to make up for the lack thereof now! Thanks for visiting my blog.

You have a beautiful garden. Being on water restriction, I've not seen my flowers thrive this year, so it's so nice to come visit you and see all your pretties :0).
I hope you enjoy your weekend.

Hi Joy,
Thanks for visiting me. I did love Mamma Mia - a very fun film.

You have really nice gardens, very lush looking. Would you please send some of your cooler weather this way though? Now where's the picture of the dog after being brushed?
