Thanksgiving Time!

These are my Thanksgiving decorations. I love the pumpkin turkey on my

porch...Dad made it for me from a pattern! I just got the tablecloth and

tablerunners from Kohls. They have some really cute holiday stuff. Of course

I always wait for a good sale to come up too. I bought the turkey from a craft

fair a few years ago and my dear hubby grew all the gourds in our garden.

It has finally gotten to feel more fallish here with the leaves falling and the temps falling

too. How do you decorate for Thanksgiving? What is your favorite holiday to decorate

for? I think mine is Christmas and then Halloween.

Things look so beautiful. I am taking all my fall stuff down today. No one will be here Thanksgiving and when I get back from moms I will only have three weeks before going back for Christmas. We also hope to make a run to Florida so I am going to start Christmas soon. Right now it is clean up time=(

Joy~ Thank-you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
Your turkey runner is too cute!
I have a fall center piece posted on my site about a week or so ago.
I really do not do much for fall, my favorite of course is Christmas and I am really wanting to start decorating but promised the hubby that I would hold off until after Thanksgiving!
Hope you have a great night!

Hi Joy!

I don't do much decorating for Thanksgiving. But look out when Christmas decorating begins!

I saw your question about J's family's farm. It was across from where Lake St Louis is now. His cousin and an aunt still live there. The old homestead house is farther off the highway. We'd love to have that house, but oh boy, does it ever need work. It's near the Equestrian Center.

Hi Joy,
Do I see some Longaberger baskets on your table??!! which looks very nice. I really enjoy decorating for Christmas. I just love the white lights on the tree:) and the house just feels cozy. My kitchen has blue in it with cream and a little black.
Bye,
Deb

I love your turkey pumpkin! Very cute. I usually just remove all the ghosts, bats and goblins and leave all the rest of my fall decorations for Thanksgiving. Which seems to be creeping up very fast!
