Country Bathrooms!

I would love to have any of these bathrooms. I found these at Country Living! We need to do

something to our bathroom because the wallpaper border is peeling off. So what

I would really like to do is paint the top portion a light or baby blue and

we have beadboard on the lower half. We also have a huge mirror over

our vanity. I would love to take that down and put two smaller mirrors
above each sink. I know I am dreaming though because with two kids

in college we will not have money for this....

Joy, I love these! One thing you can do is hang a picture frame over the plate mirror and above each sink. I've seen people do that very effectively, and it looks great. I wish I could think of a blog where I saw this recently. If I do I will post a link.

I love bead board in a bathroom. It looks great! You can also go rather high with the bead board, and then put molding above it. My cousin is an architect and did something like this in a house he redid. Looks great!

Sheila

Oh, I do like those country bathrooms. I've always loved clawfoot tubs. We had one in the first house we owned. I miss it.

Hi Joy,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm glad to have found yours, I love it. These bathrooms are indeed great. We are actually in the process of redoing my daughter's/guest bathroom. And we are using a pale green paint for the top half and white beadboard for the bottom. I will be posting the pictures soon, come back to visit.
