New Laptops!

My kids, Matthew and Stephanie both got new laptops for christmas.
They will both be going away to college in the fall and we thought
they would be needing them. The good thing is that my son got one
for high school graduation a couple years ago and so I inherited his old
Dell. It is a bit of an adjustment getting used to the keyboard and all but
it is fun to be able to surf the web from bed or wherever you want.
Here is a picture of them on Christmas Eve. Of course my son had his eyes
closed in one picture and was acting dumb in the other but it is still a cute
shot.

Laptops are the best...I love your daughters pink one...you are going to get spoiled with yours..it's just great being able to be wherever when you use it.
I loved reading your book list for 2008 and your number review...I found several I'd like to read...hugs, Linda

I would love to have a laptop. But, I am sure it's only in my dreams for awhile.

I couldn't live without my laptop 'Howard'. I'm glad you have one now~ what are you going to do when your kids go to college? I'm already in a panic~ my only child is 1/2 through her junior year and I'm freaking out! :)

I have that same pink Dell and I love it!

Bob is a graduate of Truman so I can't say anything bad about her choice! I love Mizzou, and depending on what she is studying, would have recommended it too!

Hi Joy, So happy to have you visit theVintageNest. My goal is to get a laptop this year mostly so I can blog from anywhere and give comments whenever I wish. :) My sis bought the birdseed eggs from Smith & Hawken but you can make them too. I did a google search and most people used whipped egg whites to hold the seed together. Have a super great day. ~ Lynn

Both my girls have laptops and they love them! How excited your kids must have been when they opened up that gift!
Good luck to them when they get to college.

It would be fun to have a computer in bed. Hmm, that didn't sound right!
