Happy Labor Day!

Hope you all had a great weekend and nice labor day. We went to my
oldest sister Sue's sons house for lunch. He has two kids Nathan and Nicholas
who are adorable. The other little boy on the right is their neighbor.
They just bought a sweet little starter house and
are very proud new home owners. My husband gave them a few starts of
plants and I took a picture of them in front of the elephant ears that
they have grown. They are quite huge!

What handsome boys all those children are! I'm a big fan of boys, having a son, myself, and I think that age is such a fun time. A bit rowdy at times, but I enjoy it.

I've always wanted to grow elephant ears, but haven't as we have to dig them up and store them over the winter, and I haven't had that sort of gardening time in the last few years. I'll have to think about it for next year though. They are such dramatic plants, and I think at least one would look really nice next to my pond.

I hope you have a nice day.
