Blue Monday!

Join Smiling Sally for
Blue Monday were we post some of our favorite blue things...
One is my Paula Dean coffee pot and the other is a new little print that I picked
up at a craft fair this fall. I have a lot of blue christmas things to post later
when I get organized. If that ever happens..sigh!

This week reading wise was slow because both kids were home from college and
we did a lot of shopping, visiting and eating...lol

What I finished was this

1. The Christmas List by Richard Paul Evans
One of my favorite authors, he wrote The Christmas Box series delivered
another wonderful holiday read.
About a ruthless business man who woke up one day to read his obit in the
paper. Accidently presumed dead there were many people who voiced their
displeasure with this man in the online comments section of the papers web page.
He goes about trying to right some of the wrongs he has done over several years,
including alienating himself from his family.
4.5 out of 5

2. Blue Christmas on Audio CD by Mary Kay Andrews
This was a cute little christmas mystery about an antique shop owner in
Savannah, Georgia. I love her humor.
4 out of 5

These will help for the holiday reading challenge too at All about (n)

This week, taking a more serious tone with my readings and here is what I have
planned.
1. I, Alex Cross by James Patterson
2. Shutter Island by Dennis LeHane

Have fun reading!

I really wanted to read The Christmas List by Richard Paul Evans, but I don't see that I'll have time before Christmas.

I love all the blues you shared with us today, but the coffee pot was absolutely the best. I hope you had a wonderful Blue Monday.

What a cool coffee pot. Looks like the one my grandmother used to use. Right now I am reading In This Mountain by Jan Karon. I love the Mitford series! They are so uplifting and fun. This is my first week on Blue Monday and I am a little late making my rounds. Have a wonderful week.

Smiles,
Tricia
