Blue and Silver Christmas Tree's and Monday Memes

Once again it is time to share what I am reading this week with other bloggers
participating in the Monday meme at Sheila's blog, "It's Monday, What are you reading?"
This week I am starting on a Jennifer Crusie title, "Maybe it's Time".
I am really looking forward to this one, because it has a little bit of a ghost story to it..

Product Description
The New York Times bestselling author of Bet Me, Tell Me Lies and Welcome to Temptation delivers her long-awaited new novel--Maybe This Time.

Andie Miller is ready to move on in life. She wants to marry her fiancé and leave behind everything in her past, especially her ex-husband, North Archer. But when Andie tries to gain closure with him, he asks one final favor of her before they go their separate ways forever. A very distant cousin of his has died and left North as the guardian of two orphans who have driven out three nannies already, and things are getting worse. He needs a very special person to take care of the situation and he knows Andie can handle anything.

When Andie meets the two children she quickly realizes things are much worse than she feared. The place is a mess, the children, Carter and Alice, aren’t your average delinquents, and the creepy old house where they live is being run by the worst housekeeper since Mrs. Danvers. What’s worse, Andie’s fiancé thinks this is all a plan by North to get Andie back, and he may be right. Andie’s dreams have been haunted by North since she arrived at the old house. And that’s not the only haunting.

What follows is a hilarious adventure in exorcism, including a self-doubting parapsychologist, an annoyed medium, her Tarot-card reading mother, an avenging ex-mother-inlaw, and, of course, her jealous fiancé. And just when she thinks things couldn’t get more complicated, North shows up on the doorstep making her wonder if maybe this time things could be different between them.

If Andie can just get rid of all the guests and ghosts, she’s pretty sure she can save the kids, and herself, from the past. But fate might just have another thing in mind…

This week I was searching for holiday tree decorating idea's and came upon
several really pretty blue and silver combinations.
I usually decorate one tree like this and one traditionally with all the family ornamnets we have collected over the years.
I will share just a few of the pictures of all the tree's I found for Smiling Sallys "Blue Monday" meme.

So what colors do you decorate in for the holidays? Have you started getting ready
yet? We will probably decorate the day or weekend after Thanksgiving.
Have fun reading or whatever you like to do and can't wait to see what you all have posted this Monday!

Ooo, I do like the last tree, Joy, but I must confess that I decorate in mostly reds and greens.

Happy Blue Monday.

Blue & silver are lovely and unique Christmas colours. My Xmas tree doesn't normally have a colour scheme--too many ornaments to see it :D

Hi Joy,
The blue is pretty! I'll be decorating the day after Thanksgiving also! I'm more traditional with my colors...red, white, silver with my vintage ornies, and white lights one the tree.
Warmly,
deb :)

Hi, Joy, thanks for visiting my blog! The blue trees are beautiful! We haev some blue trees in our town...right outside "Graceland Too", but they aren't anywhere near as preety as the ones in your pics! I'm an avid reader, too, and I'll have to check that book out! I hope our library has it!

All the tress are very pretty. However, the last one is my favorite. I just like a real tree and this has a touch of green to it. I do not decorate much anymore, but like seeing what others have.
