New Miss Lily Pictures!

My Grandbaby Lilian Rae is going to be five months old on Aug 3rd. Where has the time gone? She makes me smile all the time and I just love playing with her and rocking her to sleep. The baptism dress was made my son's, fiance, Patty who is Lily's Godmother. Also I went to the neurosurgeon on Thursday and he gave me two options for my ruptured disc and sciatica. One is surgery and the other is spinal
epidurals. He said he thinks I should do the surgery and get it over with because in
his opinion the shots are just a temporary solution to the pain. So I will be trying to decide this weekend what to do. It is hard because I help with the baby so much I hate to let my daughter down.

Sounds like susrgery will take care of the problem and then you are good to go! Operations don't sound fun! Feeling better does!

What a cutie! Having the surgery will help you help your daughter more and she will understand.

Take care.

It was so neat to read this! Not just because your Grandbaby is so adorable..but because of her name.
My mother's name was lillian and my father's name was Ray. I named my oldest daughter whom I speak of on my blog..Sandra Rae. See? Just made me smile all over the place!

Dear Joy,
What darling photos of your precious Lily. What a joy she is. Congrats again. Isn't being a grand mother wonderful!!!

I am sorry about your back pain. I have suffered with sciatica problems for a long time. If your doctor thinks surgery is the best option for you.... and you trust his advice.... I would get it done. However, you can always get a second opinion. That might give you more piece of mind.

Thanks for the well wishes on my blog. It is nice to hear from you again. Hugs, Lura
