My poor girl at band camp and my poor son working outside! Ugh. I hope
they make it thru the next few days. I know it is easier on you when you are younger
so that is good.
I thought I would show you some more of our garden before it
all wilts away. Here is my birdbath that I got as a mothers day gift.
I have two rose of sharon bushes that are blooming their little hearts out.
One is close to the house the other is in the corner of our yard.
My hubby also bought a new hibiscus plant and a new hollyhock bush. They arevery pretty colors, I think. Also he planted these huge banana tree plants. Only thing I don't care for is that they have to be brought in ever fall.

Oh, wow, I can't believe it, sweet chick! At the nursery on saturday I saw a rose of sharon bush and it looked like a hibiscus it was so huge. I fell in love with it but hubs said no, we've got enough to plant at this time. I think I will have one some day though. I wish your pix were clickable to enlarge because I'd love to see it large!!
Smoochies,
Connie
Your garden looks so lovely, hollylocks are a favorite of mine...they remind me of my grandma's garden, she always grew them. What a sweet birdbath...I love the designs...I see a hummer on it and lots of flowers...pretty, pretty. I hope you have lots of visitors. Try to stay cool...hugs, Linda
Your yard and garden is BEAUTIFUL!! We are working hard to stay cool here too....hit a record yesterday at 109 and I think today it only got to 105....no rain in sight...bleh
Your garden looks beautiful. Even if it's 110 out today. It's about 102 here in AZ. Thanks for visiting my house tour!
Brandee :-)
Hi Joy, So glad that you dropped in for a visit! I love meeting other bloggers! Your flowers are beautiful! I know what you mean about them wilting away from the heat! It is 100 degrees here with a heat index of over 105. My plants were holding their own until last week, but now some are looking pretty bad!
You have a great looking blog! Hope you will come again! :)

Your flowers are beautiful! Those roses are going crazy! Wish mine would look like that.
I can't believe how it hot it is where you live. I thought it was warm here and it's only in the upper 80's.
Hugs,
Joanne
Joy, they should be clickable when you upload them to blogger. I've found a couple of people who didn't know it and have tried to help them. I think it has to do with uploading directly from the camera and not the card. Not sure, but I know that solved it for one person, sweet chick. How do you upload them????
Smoochies,
Connie
I load them from the card so that could be the problem..
Joy, It was so good to hear from you. I've never seen a rose of sharon bush before. It's beautiful. I love your garden. Thanks for sharing!! Terrie

What a pretty garden. I hope you are able to enjoy the blooms and color for a bit longer before the heat gets them. Hope the kids fared well also.
