Blue Monday and What are you reading?

It's Monday again and over at Smiling Sally, we post what some of our
favorite blue things are.. here are a few of mine.
One is my tablecloth that I have had for years and pull out every
Christmas and one is my new bathroom set that I got at Kohls after
christmas last year.

Also it is What are you reading, Monday over at J. Kaye's Book Blog today.

I haven't been getting a whole lot of reading done this week with the holidays,
shopping and visiting with my college kids that are home. So I am almost
finished with

Dead to the World on CD by Charlaine Harris. A Sookie Stackhouse
Vampire Mystery.
and
Hunted : a house of night novel /by P.C. Cast and Kristen.

I have to listen to The Road by McCarthy, Cormac
my son said this was a great book and it is now out at the movies.
Have any of you seen or read it?

Also,I want to start on The girl on legare street by Karen White.

So what do you all have planned for this week? Have a Happy New Years, and stay safe!

Looks like some good reading! I've read all the Harris books and liked them. Yes, I read The Road and wouldn't have missed it. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Ooh, pretty blues! My favorite!

Good luck with The Road! I'm just afraid to pick it up! It sounds so bleak!

I keep meaning to read Karen White's The House On Tradd Street, but I haven't gotten to it yet. That goes for the rest of the Sookie series too!

Enjoy your week and Happy New Year!

Great blues for Blue Monday! I love that tablecloth. And I haven't been getting much reading done either - hope to do better in the New Year.

I just finished the 9th book in the Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency. I loved everyone of them and recommend them highly. They are "feel good" books. I also just got the HBO episodes of this series and love them too. Good Stuff.

I just started reading "Christmas Rose". I got it for Christmas and I am sure I will enjoy it.

Have a great New Year. Hugs, Lura
