September 14th WOW post

Joining Jill at Breaking the Spine for her weekly Wednesday Meme. This week I found out one of my favorite authors has a new one coming out soon. I already have it on reserve at the library and hope to get to read it in the near future. I know they buy multiple copies of his titles. So what are you waiting for this week?

THE BEST OF ME is the heart-rending story of two small-town former high school sweethearts from opposite sides of the tracks. Now middle-aged, they've taken wildly divergent paths, but neither has lived the life they imagined . . . and neither can forget the passionate first love that forever altered their world. When they are both called back to their hometown for the funeral of the mentor who once gave them shelter, they will be forced to confront the choices each has made, and ask whether love can truly rewrite the past. .

I have actually never read a Nicholas Sparks book... I have never really had a desire; but the synopsis of this one sounds really good. I may have to break my streak ;)

I've only read A Bend in the Road by Nichola Sparks and I really enjoyed it. I don't know why I haven't picked up more of his books. I really enjoy the movies made after his books, but I know thats never the same. Which one would you recommend?

I love Nicholas Sparks so this will be going on the wish list. I know other people have a hard time with his books but I never seem to tire of him.

Thanks so much for the well wishes on my daughter's book.

I use to read a lot of Nicholas Sparks but then stopped a few years ago after (1) left me flat --don't even recall which it was.

Hope u like this new one.
