Smiling Sally's Blue Monday Meme

Two of my favorite girls, my grand daughter Lilian Rae and
my Diamond girl.
They love each other so much! Sometimes Diamond will lay by her
bedroom door while she is napping.
The picture below is Lily showing off her new head band. She is the
light of my life.
Thanks for all the prayers for my Dad. He is still hanging in there.
His kidneys are pretty bad.  His Alzheimers is getting worse too.
It is so sad to witness him slipping away.
I just spent the night over there last night and although I am tired I don't want
to take a nap because I work at the library in a few hours. I am afraid if I take
a nap I will be even more groggy at work.

Hi Joy,

It's hard losing a parent; I've "been there."

Your granddaughter is darling. Thanks for sharing.

Have a Happy Blue Monday!

Hi Joy, Your photos are so precious. Our poodle Cheri is so loveable and caring about us. Our grands are all grown now and when they visit, Cheri' is so crazy happy.

I'm sad for you about your dad. Both my parents have been gone for quite a while. I never forget when we lost them. Thank goodness we have many wonderful memories to comfort us. Think about the happy times Joy. It brings a certain amount of peace when you see your dad slipping away.

Prayers for him and your family.
Hugs,
Jeanne

Well Lilian is adorable for sure, darling smile. It's so hard for us to see our parents fail, my Mom is 88 and I just got her home from a crushed elbow.

May you find peace and comfort knowing so many others share this issue. So far, no one in my family has been affected. It is a terrible thing. I can see and understand your love for that precious little girl. I have a great great grandson(10) that means the world to me.

Glad to know your Dad is still hanging in there.
He sounds like a trooper.

Keep taking good care of him and
as the others said remember the
times.

Take care.
