My spin on taco pie!

I saw a version of this on facebook and thought I would give it a try since I had all the ingredients.
It was super easy to put together and we also had a lettuce and tomato salad with it.

Taco Pie
1 pkg crescent rolls
1 pound of lean ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 can Rotel tomatoes and green chilies
Pam Spray

I just put the crescent rolls in the pie plate with the larger side to the inside
of the plate all lined up, so that it covers the bottom of the plate.
Cook the hamburger meat and add the pkg of taco seasoning.
Drain the grease.
Spoon in the meat, next add a drain can of Rotel tomatoes and green chilies,
Top with your favorite cheese. We used Kraft Shredded Mexican Cheese.
Save some cheese for the top.
Next pull in the Crescent dough that is hanging outside the pie plate as shown in the photo and add your cheese.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 18-20 minutes.

My hubby who is pretty picky about trying new things even liked it!

Taco pie looks delicious and so easy. Gotta love those crescent rolls. Have you tried making the braided one using crescent rolls and fruit filling? Thanks for your sweet visit.
