like to follow him around the yard while he gardens and does his yard work.
Salsa is going to be ten soon
and Chris is a little over a year. When we first brought the cat home I was afraid
how he would fair since Salsa usually likes to chase neighborhood cats. But after getting
used to the little furball I think they are getting to be great pals.
Salsa had a torn ACL about 6 months or so ago. We thought she would need
surgery but she mended well on her own and barely limits now.
With her age and temperment we didn't think she would be a good
candidate for the surgery. Plus as you can see she is a bit chunky.
We have her on diet doggy food and low fat snacks only now.
Poor thing would rather eats Chris's cat food.

That is very sweet. We have an older girl dog that never had babies an she mothers our cats.
Now when I brought this wild Bichon home and my house cat wasn't used to him it took forever to get along. They still aren't best buds. Jersey is just so wild.
Our little pets are part of the family. Looks like yours are too. Mimi
That picture of your two pets is precious! You give me hope that one day we might be able to have a dog in the house again. Right now Pixie the cat has ownership around here. Susan
What a lovely picture of OPPOSITES!!
Thanks for the visit and comment about our Bedroom re-do! The plaques above our bed are plaster-cast...not metal.

Pets are like kids waiting for dad to come home. We had a cat who used to wait for my husband to come home. And he had to pet her as soon as he walked in the door, or she followed him around until he did.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Very sweet pic of your "fur babies" waiting for their daddy.
Have a Blessed Sunday.
Warmly, Deb
What a precious pictures...I'm glad Salsa is doing well.
Have a happy Fall season...hugs, Linda
How sweet! Brandie and Sammie do the same thing. They lay on the back of the sofa at approx 6 pm. When their daddy drives up they run to the door. Then he takes them outside while he fills the birdfeeder.
What a sweet picture! Our dog, Daisy waits at the front window when the kids play outside.

I love that cute picture. So sweet. You should enter it in a photo contest.
So nice! Gives new meaning to the term "they fight like cats and dogs". No fighting here....just friendship....
That's so sweet...sitting and waiting! Nancy
