New Bargains!

I stopped at the resale shop in town and they had a couple cute treasures that spoke
to me so I picked up this tea cup and this tea pot that is actually a votive holder.
I thought it would make a cute July 4th decoration.. The tea cup was only 2.99
and the tea pot was 3.99

Wonderful finds, Joy! I haven't had much luck at resale shops.

Some of the best garage sales, we've been to, are in your neck of the woods. It won't be long until they start up again.

Those are both so cute, I love thrift shopping and yard saleing. I don't get to many yard sales, because I work on Saturdays and that's the only day they have them here in Mass. I find that I just buy what I see even if it's not the right season or holiday. Then when I need it, I have it! Thanks for stopping by my blog, come back soon.

Thanks for stopping in and saying hi. I love that patriotic tea pot candle holder. How sweet! I love to do a tablescape for the 4th of July. Have a great week!

What a cute teacup and teapot.

Wouldn't it be cute to put a fruit dip in the teacup and then sit in the center of a platter surrounded by strawberries for the 4th!

Isn't thrift store shopping so much fun!

Hi Joy! I love your finds, especially the teapot (even though I'm an aussie, I really love Americana items too! lol). I had to chuckle to myself when you said these things spoke to you............yes, I have things speaking to me all the time too as I walk through the thrift stores! Wishing you a lovely day sweetie.

I love blue and white dishes, and your teacup is lovely.

Decorating for the 4th is one of my favorite things to do too. What nice finds.

Have a nice weekend, Joy.

Hi there, I love your teacup! Thanks for stopping by and looking at mine too!
Now, my shelves...I got the stained one in a thrift store for $10.00!!! I almost ran with it!
I got the other one at a local unfinished furniture store and painted it myself. It has been a few different colors...I have been thinking of changing it again as we just moved into our home and I am stuck with the wallpaper in the livingroom for awhile...

Blessings,
Susie
