She is older now but we recently adopted a kitten and her name is Mia. She is a little tabby cat. A few months ago we had to put our sweet beagle, Diamond to sleep. She was very sick with Cushings Disease. We tried to treated it for almost a year with medications but her quality of life got so bad we had to make that hard decision. That is one of the reasons I stopped blogging for awhile. Also the fact my Mom is in a Memory Care Facility and a few other things. We moved about a year ago to and after living in a house for over twenty years that was a big job too. Next covid hit and I worked from home for about a year. Now I am back to working at our local public library branch. So these are a few photos of our new baby who we spoil rotten, Mia.
Mia is in the upper right corner of this photo. We got her when she was 3 months old.

Stopping by after seeing your comment on my blog. Welcome back to blogging! In just this one post I see there are a lot of areas that cross in both our lives. The kittens; you're a librarian, my mom was a librarian; your mom is in a memory care facility, I used to work in a memory care unit; books!; and sadly, your beagle and the decision to put it down...we had a Bagel hound and had to make that decision 4 years ago and it still makes me sad...he was the sweetest soul.
Anyway, I'll be back again. :)
Oooo...just read your profile and found out we share a love for estate sales and auctions, too! I also like thrift stores, yard sales, and flea markets.

Hello! So happy to meet you! I am also a book lover. I love them, and would have loved to work in a library! I became an elementary school teacher instead. Now, I homeschool our youngest. We have two pups. Kirby is our oldest and Mocha is my tiny shadow. I love your sweet kitten. I am happy to be your newest follower. Have a cozy evening!
Such a cute kitty and will definitely keep you busy!
Welcome back to blogging. The kittens are adorable. Happy reading.
Mia is so cute!!! Thanks for sharing her pictures.
Thank-you for the visit! I love the St. Louis Cardinals. I wish it didn't take so long for me to get there.
Ya know, I shared about Silver Dollar City on my blog, did you hear there was a fire there this week? They had to close for a day, so when you come down you might see some of the damage. I hope you have a great trip!
